Leaving your past behind can be one of the hardest things to do. Some of us constantly relive our past trying to pinpoint what we could have done differently to lessen the pain we are facing now. Many people struggle with letting go of anger, guilt, and resentment due to past experiences. So the question is, how do we let go of the past? Many don’t realize our brains don’t remember past events exactly how they occur, and what we remember about our past is our subjective view. Learning to forgive yourself and/or others can be challenging. However, when we let go of our past, we make space for greater things to make their way into our life. This episode is about how we perceive the past, but most importantly how to let the past be the past.
Do you find it hard to switch gears between activities throughout your day? In this episode, I address a great question from one of my students about managing transitions, especially when moving from high-energy to low-energy tasks. I’ll share practical strategies to create intentional breaks between activities, such as time blocking, walking, or using music to shift your energy. Discover how setting boundaries and creating conscious transitions can help you feel more centered, reduce stress, and increase your enjoyment in life.
